This minimalist apartment is located in the popular area of Wiesbaden, Germany. The brief to the designers at Studio Oink was an apartment that was intimate, familiar, quiet, and bright. The designers delivered, and created a home with a light atmosphere, and a touch of nature using natural materials and old furniture. The walls were painted in ‘Greige” colours (grey and beige) to make it feel more open and roomy. For a similar colour scheme on your walls try Plascon’s Mandarin Tusk GR-Y-04, Antique Petal GR-Y05 and Ravine NEU05. The original wood floors were left exposed (except in the kitchen) and most furniture was custom-made giving the owner plenty of storage to keep things neat and tidy in the small space.
